Depending on the need for silage in the storage tanks, this circulating pump can be equipped with different knife options. In the unfortunate situation of mass fish death, processing time is essential. During such circumstances it can be necessary to move unfinished silage from the grinder tank to storage/process tanks before the silage is completely particle free. The Silage circulation pump can then after treat the started silage and get the particle size down to a correct level while a new batch of biomass is treated in the grinder tank.
